In his role as Chief of Staff, Matt Freda supports the office of the CEO as well as the rest of the executive leadership team on a variety of strategic projects. Matt joined Highridge with extensive career experience in the private equity ecosystem. He came from H.I.G. Capital, where he was responsible for all aspects of executing new transactions as well as working with portfolio companies and their management teams to execute growth and operational strategies. Matt began his career at Harris Williams where he executed sell-side M&A transactions for a variety of private equity clients across the specialty distribution, industrial services, and professional services industries.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Richmond. He is based in the Westminster office and lives in Denver, where he takes advantage of the active lifestyle opportunities Colorado has to offer between running, cycling, skiing, and hiking.
